Meghan Nixey

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer/Salesperson & Certified Crematorium Technician

Meghan joined our staff in August 2016 part time, then full time in September of 2022. Meghan is a Certified Crematorium Technician, looking after the cremation needs of our families. She graduated from the Canadian College of Funeral Services program in June 2024 as a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer. Meghan and her husband Jason live in Humboldt. She is currently serving on the board for the Saskatchewan Crematoria Council and Prairie Gateway Settlement Services (formerly Humboldt Regional Newcomer Centre).

Jessie Eggerman

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Jessie joined our staff on April 1, 2013. She is a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer/Salesperson and Certified Crematorium Technician who works part time with us. Jessie lives on an acreage in the Annaheim/Spalding area.

Haley Therres

Student Funeral Director/Embalmer

Haley joined our staff in March 2024. She is currently enrolled with the Canadian College of Funeral Service as a Student Funeral Director & Embalmer. Haley lives in Humboldt.

Debbie Sarauer

Certified Funeral Celebrant

Debbie joined our staff in the fall of 2021. She is a Certified Funeral Celebrant, helping families to create unique services for their loved ones. She also assists with funeral services. Debbie is a retired teacher and she and her husband Jim live in Humboldt.

Dawn Verishine

Certified Crematorium Technician/Service Associate

Dawn joined our staff in March 2024. She completed her Certified Crematorium Technician training in July 2024. Dawn also assists with funeral services when available.

Arla Berting

Aftercare Team Member

Arla joined our staff in April of 2015. She looks after our Aftercare Program, calling families and assisting them after the funeral. Arla and her husband Larry, live in Humboldt and have a family of three sons.

Vaughn Irbeck

Certified Crematorium Technician

Vaughn joined our staff in August 2021. In March 2022, he completed his training and is now a Certified Crematorium Technician. He also assists with funeral services. Vaughn and his wife Lisa live in Saskatoon and have adult twin daughters.

Karl Breker

Service Associate

Karl started working with us in January 2020, assisting with funeral services. He is a retired conservation officer and coroner. Karl and his wife Lauri live in Humboldt and have one daughter.

Kim Bernauer

Service Associate

Kim started working with us in August 2020. She presently assists with funeral services and is enjoying learning more about the funeral profession. Kim and her husband Gerald live in Lanigan and have 2 sons.

Donn Kimmen

Service Associate

Donn joined our staff in the fall of 2023. He helps with funeral services and some maintenance. Donn is retired and he and his wife Joyce live in Muenster.

Maurice Draude

Service Associate

Maurice has worked on and off with us for a number of years. He is recently back assisting with funerals when he is available. Maurice and his wife Sandy live in Wakaw.
